Hello

I am a local man, schooled in St Osyth, Clacton-On-Sea, and Colchester. I went back into education at the age of 40, having to retake my GCSE English in 2017. In 2018 I completed an access to higher education course covering Physics and Biology before starting the 3 year Physiotherapy degree in 2019 at the University of Essex. It was hard work as a 'mature' student but I passed with flying colours and have continued learning ever since. I enjoy learning about the wonderful, complex, amazing, fragile human body and how everyone is similar but individual at the same time. I relish new challenges and love meeting new people. 

I have had many different jobs in my lifetime from Dairy farmer, chicken packer, window fabricator, window fitter, glass cutter, handyman, and 10 years in a car parts distribution centre raising through the ranks from driver to depot manager. All of these different jobs have helped me learn many transferable skills which helps with my current career as a physiotherapist.
